Summary

Starting the adventure in the twin cities of Albury/Wodonga in the foothills of the Victorian alps and Kosciuszko National Park

We slip into Victoria and travel to Jingellic where we slip back into NSW to Tumbarumba, from Tumbarumba we ride the Elliots way to Cabramurra (Highest town in NSW). From Cabramurra we ride across the top through Kiandra, Adaminaby and Berridale to overnight at Bombala

Bombala is a bike-friendly town with good accommodation, a couple of pubs and Club Bombala

Day two

We leave Bombala and ride through Delegate. On leaving Delegate we ride 129 Klm`s of technical road to Orbost. We then detour via Buchan (a very pretty Valley) onto Bruthen, from Bruthen we head up the Alpine way to Omeo (overnight in Omeo)

Day three

On Leaving Omeo we head up and over the top to Dinner Plain and Mount Hotham, from Mount Hotham we head back down the other side to Harrietville (A very pretty alpine town). After leaving Harrietville we head towards Bright but just before Bright we turn right and for another technical section to Mount Beauty. After a well-earned rest stop at Mount Beauty, we then head back up to Falls Creek then over the top and back down to the Mitta Mitta Rd and with more technical roads through to Mitta Mitta. From Mitta Mitta we then cruise through the Eskdale valley to the Kiewa valley Hwy to Bullioh for a sprint through the Granya Gorge back to Hume River Rd to Albury

This 3-day ride is although a very pretty ride with some awesome country and scenic views is also a challenging ride as there are long technical stretches that seem to last forever
